What Can The HIV/Hep C Counsellor Do?

It may be you need someone to talk to. By contacting the Counsellor you can talk to a professional listener knowing that everything said will be treated in strictest confidence.
Maybe you are not sure how you can become infected with the HIV virus, contract Hepatitis C, or you are HIV-Hepatitis C positive and would like to talk to a therapist.

Taking Action

You may wish to do something positive about your predicament whatever that may be. The Counsellor will discuss with you available options. The Counsellor can support you in your decisions to help yourself. Quite simply, the Counsellor will "be there" to help you help yourself.
All therapy with the Counsellor is free and strictly confidential.
The Counsellor can give advice on where to be tested and the confidentiality (and personal), issues arising from this.

Family, Friends & Loved Ones

The Counsellor is just as ready to help the family, friends & loved ones of those whose lives are affected by HIV or Hepatitis.

Information & Education

Information is given to those who wish to know more about Hepatitis and HIV. This is available to teachers, youth workers, welfare personnel and managers etc.
Professionals are welcome to contact the Counsellor for information concerning these blood bourne viruses.
