Shire Alcohol & Drug Outreach Worker ServiceShire Alcohol & Drug Outreach Worker Service (Sh.a.d.o.w.s.) is an outreach service for all young people under the age of 21 who live in the Christchurch, Ferndown and Wimborne Areas. Sh.a.d.o.w.s. aims to inform and educate about the realities and consequences of Drug and Alcohol use/misuse, so that hopefully wise choices can be made. Sh.a.d.o.w.s. also offers non-judgmental support to young people whose lives may already be adversely affected by Drugs and/or Alcohol misuse. You can talk through your feelings in a safe environment, where you can get help to explore what you want to do and the options and possibilities open to you. Normally anything that you tell us will be treated in the strictest confidentiality. Many people who suffering drug or alcohol problems have very negative ideas about themselves. We know that change is possible and that each person is special, with talents (sometimes hidden) and with something valuable to give. YOUR FUTURE - MAKE IT BRIGHT!SHADY CHARACTER OR SHINING LIGHT?YOUR CHOICE - GET IT RIGHT! |
